What we expect from our assessors- To work to Access Independent and HPC expected standard of practice
- To have two years post qualifying experience. Currently working in social services is an advantage
- To possess an up to date CV, CRB, recent evidence of practice, training etc
- To attend an interview at our office
- To work within agreed procedures, systems and process as set out at the beginning of a contract between Access Independent and the Customer
- To keep us informed of availability, activities and progress on cases at all times
How we will support you to work as a fieldwork assessor- Provide regular and flexible work to suit your needs
- Give a full induction covering procedures, processes and systems
- Enable you to work within timed targets for all types of contracts
- Offer support, supervision and guidance from our contracts team to progress cases through to completion
- Negotiate payment terms according to the type of work, volume of cases and level of support required
Types of work available
- Clearing waiting lists
- Covering mobility assessment clinics
- One-off sporadic ADL assessments for a variety of organisations, including the British Legion, housing associations and case management companies
Where do we need OTs?
- At present we are recruiting OTs for Local Authority Social Services waiting list work in Cornwall, Hampshire, Bradford and London
- At present we are recruiting OTs for mobility assessments in South London
