Access Independent works with a wide variety of charities and voluntary organisations, including The Royal British Legion and SSAFA. Our primary function is to help people remain independent in their own homes, by providing occupational therapy assessments and giving advice on equipment and adaptations, often when social services are unable to meet the need.

Our large network of reliable, experienced OTs takes the headache out of sourcing. Members are located across the UK, enabling us to respond promptly with locally based therapists.

In each case, the OT will carry out an assessment and complete a comprehensive report. If needed, details of equipment or adaptations required by the customer can be outlined and priced. All assessments are checked by one of our OT managers before being sent to the referrer, in order to ensure that the quality and consistency of the reports suits the guidelines agreed at the start of the contract.
