A growing number of housing associations across the UK take Access Independent's OT service to provide a rapid response to meet their tenants’ needs. This service includes recommendations to assist with minor works, such as grab rails and major adaptations to property, including stair lifts and level access showers.

Our large network of reliable, experienced OTs takes the headache out of sourcing. Members are located across the UK, enabling us to respond promptly with locally based therapists.

Access Independent has a robust registration process, which includes checks of two references, CRB and HPC registration, full interview and completion of case study. Once fully registered, the OT is provided with a handbook outlining our expectations and standards. As a result, we provide a consistent, quality service.

We can also offer ergonomic assessments to organisations such as housing associations in order to help prevent back problems and RSI.
