Risk Assessments for Occupational Therapists

A half day course that will consider the use of risk assessment as a tool to assist with clinical decisions as an Occupational Therapist working in the community.
The course will cover the principles of risk assessment and risk management, and how a risk assessment, which may be in conjunction with a best interest decision, informs an Occupational Therapy functional assessment and decisions on interventions such as the provision of equipment and adaptations.
The course includes online presentation and discussion.
